HOW WE STARTED IS OUR DIFFERENCE
Founded in 2017 by entrepreneur and managing director Otshepeng Sokhela, Oats Risk Services was created in direct response to the “risk” problem statement facing many small, medium and growing businesses.
Because of their unique situations and profiles, one-size-fits-all wealth, insurance and risk solutions didn’t meet their actual needs. Otshepeng realised they needed dynamic innovative responses: an experienced partner as committed to their business success as they were. And so, Oats Risk Services was born…

OUR TEAM
Oats’ founder and managing director Otshepeng Sokhela has over 15 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry. Throughout this period she occupied various roles in employee benefits, asset management and insurance.
She has extensive experience in technical analysis, product development, risk management, business development and operations management.
Otshepeng is passionate about the meaningful empowerment of women and youth, as well as transformation in the financial services sector.
